The Islanders lost the second game of back to back games played.
I think it was a rough game all around. A few calls didn't go in the Isles direction. Play was flat at points in the game. Certainly wasn't their strongest outing of the season.
For me, any time DP starts in net it will be a shaky night. He plays risky and careless and while he does make a nice save here and there his overall play is sloppy and kills the morale. He got caught a few times tonight but luckily the score didn't reflect that.
Hopefully we will see a better performance at Saturdays home game against Ottawa. Saturday is my birthday and I will be attending the game with 12 friends. Lets hope they start Poulin!!
